Data we collect
None. The app does not collect, store, share or sell any personal or device data. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.
Data kept on your phone
Your favourite hymns, recently opened hymns, text size and theme are saved only on your own device, so the app can remember them. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing the app's data, or uninstalling it, removes them.
Internet use
The app downloads the hymnbook once so it can work offline, and checks for updated hymn text when you are online. These requests contain no personal information.
Permissions
The app needs no special permissions. The option to keep the screen on while a hymn is open uses the standard screen wake feature of your phone and can be turned off in the app.
Cost and ads
The app is free, has no ads and no in-app purchases, needs no registration, and has no expiry date.
Children
The app is suitable for everyone and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
